The frigate "Admiral Makarov" carries out the transition to the Black Sea Fleet

As reported on August 18, 2018, by the press service of the Black Sea Fleet, the third serial frigate of the project 11356 "Admiral Makarov" Navy of Russia "began fulfilling the tasks of the inter-fleet transfer from the Baltic to the Black Sea to its permanent base in Sevastopol."
On August 20, the Admiral Makarov frigate proceeded southward through the English Channel, while passing through the strait, it was accompanied by a minesweeper looking for mines M 39 Hurworth (type Hunt) of the British Navy.

Recall that the Admiral Makarov (serial number 01359) is the third ship of the modified project 11356 built for the Russian Navy at PJSC Baltic Shipbuilding Plant Yantar in Kaliningrad under the contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense dated October 28, 2010 for the first three frigates this type."Admiral Makarov" was laid down at the Yantar plant on February 29, 2012, and launched on September 3, 2015. July 29, 2016 the ship went to the factory running tests (ZHI). State tests of Admiral Makarov were launched in autumn 2016, but dragged on for more than a year due to the decision to conduct sea trials on this ship of the 9M317MFA antiaircraft missile with an active radar homing head introduced into the Uragan-1 air defense missile system. As a result, the frigate was commissioned by the Russian Navy only on December 27, 2017.
The lead frigate of the Admiral Grigorovich series (serial number 01357) was laid on the Yantar on December 18, 2010, launched on March 14, 2014, transferred from Kaliningrad to Baltiysk on April 8, 2015 and made the first exit on ZHI on April 24, 2015 . "Admiral Grigorovich" was introduced into the Russian Navy on March 11, 2016 and on June 9, 2016, arrived at its home base in Sevastopol.
The second ship "Admiral Essen" (serial number 01358) was laid on the "Yantar" on July 8, 2011 and launched on November 7, 2014. The frigate was transferred from Kaliningrad to Baltiysk on October 16, 2015, entered the ZHI on November 5, 2015, and was transferred to the Russian Navy on June 7, 2016. "Admiral Essen" arrived in Sevastopol on July 5, 2017.
All three frigates are part of the 30th division of the surface ships of the Black Sea Fleet based in Sevastopol.
